Tamang people of Timal area still follow their traditions such as lama and Jhankri. Similarly Tamang people of Timal region still follow their old system called Choho. Choho is a clan leader, first selected by community members who continue under a form of heredity succession. Choho plays multiple roles in community such as administrator, judiciary and spiritual leader. For these services the community members offer him gifts of alcohol and the head of a sacrificed animal. The highest point of this trek is Sailung (3100m) from where beautiful mountains of Makalu range to Dhaulagiri range can be seen. Sailung is naturally very attractive place where in winter season trekkers can take enjoy of Snow. This place is also famous for different kinds of flower including rhododendron. Moreover from Sailung trekkers can see the world highest mountain Mount Everest and plain landscapes of Tarai at once and this will be the amazing experience to the Trekkers. This trek starts from Phalate Danda and ends in Namobuddha. On the way it complete the romantic and important journey of the several Tamang villages of Timal area such as Vimsen Than, Arubot Village, Thulo Parsel and Kot Timal.
