Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu – 1,400 m (4,593 ft)

Welcome to Nepal! When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu our representative from Nepal Unique Treks will welcome you. Take you to your hotel. Once you check in you can. Take a quick walk through the busy streets of Thamel. Stay the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Pokhara Sightseeing

After breakfast you will take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara taking in amazing views of the Himalayas. When you reach Pokhara you will go to your hotel. Start exploring the area. Visit Phewa Lake take a calm boat ride. Walk around the lakeside. In the evening you can enjoy the fun atmosphere of Lakeside Pokhara. Stay the night at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 3: Full-Day Pokhara Valley Sightseeing 820 m

Today you will see the places in the Pokhara Valley. Visit Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, the International Mountain Museum and the World Peace Pagoda. You can also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp. See the wide views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. Pokhara is one of the beautiful places in Nepal because of its mountains, lakes and culture. Stay the night at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 4: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu, Patan & Bhaktapur Sightseeing

After breakfast you will fly back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive you will start a tour of Patan and Bhaktapur. Visit Patan Durbar Square, temples, courtyards and traditional Newari buildings. Then go to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known for its palace, Nyatapola Temple, Golden Gate and pottery. In the evening return to Kathmandu. Stay the night at a hotel.

Day 5: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing 1400 m

After breakfast you will explore the places in Kathmandu Valley. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Learn about temples Buddhist stupas, Hindu temples and Newari culture. In the evening return to your hotel. Get ready for the next days trip. Stay the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 6: Departure from Kathmandu / Continue to Bhutan

morning fly from Kathmandu to Paro enjoying spectacular views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga and other snow-capped peaks, weather permitting. After completing immigration and customs formalities at Paro International Airport meet your guide and begin your journey toward Thimphu.

Drive through Himalayan valleys crossing traditional villages and rivers. Upon arrival in Thimphu check in to your hotel. Relax. If time permits, explore the market or take a short evening walk around Thimphu town.
 

Day 7: Thimphu Sightseeing , Altitude: 2,334 m (7,657 ft)

After breakfast enjoy a day exploring the cultural and historical attractions of Bhutan’s capital city. Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue, one of the worlds sitting Buddha statues offering panoramic views over the Thimphu Valley. Continue to Memorial Chorten, a spiritual site where locals gather for prayers and circumambulation.

Explore Tashichho Dzong, a fortress-monastery and an important center of Bhutanese government and religion. Depending on opening hours visit the National Folk Heritage Museum and the Institute for Zorig Chusum, where Bhutanese traditional arts and crafts are preserved.

In the evening enjoy time to explore Thimphu’s streets, handicraft shops and local cafés.
 

Day 8: Thimphu – Punakha Distance 70 km, Driving Time 2/3 hours, Altitude: 1,242 m (4,075 ft)

After breakfast drive toward Punakha passing through the scenic Dochula Pass (3,100 m). On a day you can enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayan mountain ranges.

Stop at the 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens, beautifully located at the Dochula Pass. Continue downhill through forests and traditional Bhutanese settlements toward Punakha.

Visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of the Divine Madman. The temple is associated with fertility traditions and is reached by a pleasant walk through local villages and rice fields.

Continue to Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s beautiful and historically significant fortresses dramatically situated between the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Day 9: Punakha – Paro Distance: 125 km Driving Time: 4–5 hours Altitude: 2,334 m (7,657 ft)

After breakfast begin the scenic drive back toward Paro. Enjoy the changing landscape as you travel through mountain roads, forests, valleys and traditional Bhutanese villages.

On arrival in Paro visit some of the valley’s attractions, such as Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples. Depending on your arrival time explore Paro town. Browse local handicrafts, traditional textiles, souvenirs and Bhutanese products.

Spend an evening in the peaceful Paro Valley.
 

Day 10: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike Altitude: 3,120 m (10,236 ft) Accommodation: Hotel in Paro

Today is the highlight of your journey: a hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery). After breakfast drive to the trailhead. Begin the uphill hike through pine forests decorated with prayer flags. The hike generally takes around 4–6 hours round trip depending on your pace and stops.

Tiger’s Nest is dramatically perched on a cliff above the Paro Valley. Is one of Bhutan’s most iconic Buddhist sites. Take time to explore the monastery and enjoy the mountain scenery. After descending return to Paro. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or exploring Paro town.
 

Day 11: Flight from Paro to Kathmandu, Nepal

After breakfast transfer to Paro International Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Enjoy one opportunity to admire the Himalayan scenery from the air before arriving in Nepal. Tour Ends, in Kathmandu.
 

Day 12: Departure from Kathmandu, Final Departure

After breakfast, enjoy your remaining free time in Kathmandu or complete any last-minute shopping, depending on your flight schedule. Our representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft) for your international flight.
