Mt. Manaslu also known as the killer mountain is the 8th highest mountain of the world which is situated in Gorkha district in the central northern part of Nepal. It also offers the beautiful Himalayan landscape and various types of flora and fauna, rich culture of the various ethnic people like Gurung, Magars, Bhotes etc.
The adventurous Manaslu Larkya La pass trek also known as the Manaslu circuit trek begins from the Aarughat of Gorkha district on the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River. Then you follow the Budi Gandaki River valley on the bank of the river and traverse through the middle hills into the high desert region of the Tibetan plateau. In the high land of trail is mostly inhabited by the Tibetan origin people who follow the Tibetan Buddhism. In this trek you cross the challenging Larkya La pass. In this journey you can also visit the historical Gorkha durbar in Gorkha which is the wonderful ‘Durbar’ (palace) and home of the Nepal’s first king. This trek is the challenging trek and to do this trek trekkers must have to be mentally prepared and physically fit. The best season to venture in the Manaslu trek with challenging Larkya La pass are autumn and spring when the weather is clear and you can have the clear view of the mountains as well as the natural scenery.
