Kathmandu Pokhara Australian Base Camp Trek starts with a drive to Kande and takes 2 hours to reach Australian Base Camp which is located in the center of the Dhampus Jungle. You will find numbers of comfortable lodges: offering quality services. In the night, you can witness nightlights of Pokhara city.
From Australian Camp, the trail makes climb for 2 hours to Dhampus village through a jungle trail enjoying chirping birds. Dhampus is picturesque village with slate-roofed houses and Buddhist monastery. Further downhill trek leads us to Phedi – where we board on vehicle back to Pokhara.
In short, the trek is an epitome of natural beauty and fascination! Beside close peek to local culture, it offers magnificent views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Dhampus peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna south and Hiunchuli.
