Moreover, you can also experience one of the best driving experiences from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then to Kalikasthan. From Kalikasthan, we begin the walking journey on the rest of the route.

As you have already reached Pokhara, why not spend the rest of the day roaming around the lakeside? Let us tell you that Pokhara's lakeside is one of the most well-decorated cities in Nepal. From peaceful lakeside spaces, a temple in the middle of the lake, to some lake-view hotels and cafes, you can find so much here. Therefore, we recommend that you spend some quality time in the aesthetic hotels and cafes or go for a quick ride to the nearby areas. The lakeside stays hustling and bustling until midnight. However, we recommend the trekkers to sleep a little early so that they can prepare for the journey that begins the next day.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola and Trek to Kalikasthan - (1370 m) 5 hrs

On the third day, we divide the journey into two parts: first, a drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola, and then a trek to Kalikasthan. The drive from Pokhara to Bijayaour, despite being just a 40-minute drive, takes us through one of the scenic routes. On your way to Bijaypur via tourist bus, you can watch the verdant fields, traditional villages, and views of the Himalayan foothills while we go past small farms, terraced farms. Moreover, you will also see children going to school or playing on their way. Just wave at them and see them smile the brightest while waving back at you.

As we reach Bijaypur Khola or the Bijaypur Army Camp, it's time to begin the walking journey on the Annapurna Royal Trekking trail. The route is not very difficult as we only have to walk for about 5 hours. However, this section of the trail unveils the scenic hills, charming villages, and the true beauty of the Annapurna region. Walking past the Gurung and Brahmin villages, over the terraced farms, and walking the path through sal and chir pine forests, we make our way to Kalikasthan.

In Kalikasthan, the trekkers can visit the Kalika temple while enjoying outstanding scenery and a sweeping view of the Begnas lake with mountains and the terraced hills. Spend the rest of the day and evening experiencing the crisp mountain air before having dinner and sleeping for the night.

Day 4: Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaklung - (1760 m) 6 hrs

Another day to walk on the scenic trail across the dense forests, rocky ridges, and remote communities. This section of the Annapurna Royal Trek requires us to walk for about 6 hours while covering steep ascents and descents. On your way to Syaklung, you will also be offered some of the stunning views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). Besides, we also walk on a path that gently goes through serene meadows before reaching Syaklung. This village stands at an altitude of 1760 meters, offering a peaceful space in the hilltop with exceptionally warm hospitality and a serene environment.

Day 5: Descend from Syaklung to Chisopani - (1550 m) 6 hrs

Well, Syaklung stands as the highest point of the entire Annapurna Royal Trekking map. Therefore, we begin descending from the fifth day. The jaw-dropping scenes, dense forests, and mighty Himalayas still surround you to encourage your journey. Moreover, this section of the Royal Annapurna Trek also takes you across several ascents and descents before we finally reach Chisopani. Well, don't misunderstand Chisopani with Chisapani, which sits near Kathmandu. As you approach this beautifully settled village, the locals welcome you with a bright smile on their faces, and you can hear everyone saying "Namaste" while joining their hands. Get to the hotel, store your belongings, and then you can explore the village for the rest of the time.

Let us tell you that watching the sunset from Chisopani stands as one of the best things that you can do in the entire trek. So, don't miss that at all. In the evening, you can also see the children returning to the playgrounds after completing their school. Besides, just sit in a windful environment watching the sunset and eye-soothing views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. After that, have your dinner in the hotel and go for a good rest.

Day 6: Trek to Begnas Lake,

Wake up, get refreshed, and prepare yourself for a descending walk with one of the most serene endings. Yes, on the sixth day, we trek from Chisopani to Begnas Lake. Begnas Lake stands as one of the most beautiful and the second biggest lakes in Pokhara. A big lake with a stone-paved surface for you to walk on, a space where you can capture as many photos and videos as possible, while watching the surrounding hills, is what the Begnas Lake area presents.

Moreover, you can also see a lot of fishermen with their fishing rods, sitting on the bank of the lake. Well, do you know that the Begnas Lake area is famous for an outstanding dish named "Majhikuna grilled fish?" Majhikuna, in Nepali, means fishermen's corner, which is exactly what Begnas Lake is.
